Hrr. I've been having bizarre dreams lately, and the one from last night was pretty disturbing, almost like some weird scifi movie or something it's interesting how things you do or see in the daytime eventually shape into some weird things. I wonder if I should start keeping a dream diary.. Anyone doing that? But the only problem is that most of the time I just simply forget everything when I wake up if I've even seen any actual dreams, grr!
But it would be awesome to see vivid dreams like some people do, I'd love to draw them out XD

First of all, thank you for your lovely feedback lately! ♥ I'll go through my message centre and at least answer to your questions etc.! There's also quite a few notes piled up so don't worry if I haven't replied to you yet, will do it soon!

Anyways, the main thing of this journal. I have a private LJ in Finnish, but I've kinda wanted to start an English blog too.. mainly for stuff that I don't usually upload on the internet, wips, concepts and sketches and other random stuff so to speak : D I've seen many people have these kind of journals and it's always kinda intrigued me... so I wanted to launch one of my own too! I could also update it with some other stuff as I don't want to spam da with random journals.

Also... there's a REALLY weird weather going on at the moment O_O I was watching it with my mom, first it was yellow-greenish outside and completely still. Funny clouds, stripy ones and this huge black thing approaching with occasional lightning strikes in the distance. Then I came back to write about it and it suddenly turned to almost black! Woah. It's like midnight with lightning and the wind is blowing like crazy. Weird weather.

Phew, lots has happened last week and this week. I turned 19, graduated, celebrated it, saw Green Day (my body hurts from jumping all over for a couple of days hahah), my friend is visiting me at the moment and the day after tomorrow I'm leaving for Lahti for the weekend for a con (Desucon nääs!), going to work there as a.... handyman so to speak XD

Alright, I got a lot of stuff done *FREER* so I thought about opening a new batch of digital commissions! 8D

Here are the prices and some examples of my work in the styles I have in mind. The styles might differ a liiiiittle bit as some of these pictures are older, but I'll definitely always do my best with commissionwork.

And here are my policies:

What do I draw?
- I'm willing/able to draw many things, mostly animals/creatures. I'm however not a master at drawing people/humans, but I have drawn anthros before.
- I will not draw fanart of copyrighted characters (your friends characters etc. are however fine), porn/outright sexual material, sorry. But tame stuff/romance is fine.
- as the artist I have the right to refuse from doing something I'm not comfortable with at all but if you're unsure, feel free to inquire if what you have in mind is ok! : )

How do I work?

- If you are interested, send me a note and tell me what you'd like me to draw. I recommend providing me with good enough references so as to minimalize any errors with the design of the character/s. If you have some certain expressions/poses in mind, tell me about them! You can of course give me free hands, but even so I'd gladly hear some info on the character/s and of their personality etc. : )
- after getting the information I need, I'll start working on the sketch.
- I'll send you the sketch to be approved, and after approving of the sketch I'll give you my paypal address. When sending your payment, please tell me the email address you're sending it from or drop a note with your name in the transaction so I can recognise you.
- After receiving the payment (or possibly earlier) I'll start working on the colouring and send you the finished picture when it's done
- I can't say for sure how long it takes me to complete a picture, but I don't want to make people wait TOO long. This kind of pictures are still relatively fast (or at least faster do draw than more realistic stuff) though. You are free to ask how I'm doing with the picture, but please don't do so every day or so or rush me all the time, that won't help. If you have a deadline in mind, we can discuss it when you commission me.

- You will receive the picture in a smaller version and in a bigger version (at 300dpi) for printing etc.
- we can discuss the copyrights, but my basic rule is that you're not allowed to sell the picture forward
- if something's unclear, drop me a note! I'll gladly answer your questions
- oh and lastly, please save both our times and contact me only if you're seriously interested, I really dislike it when I have done the sketch and the the other person just drops off : (

One thing I have to say; Iron Man 2 was a great movie (AND RDJr a great actor)! :-D I actually saw the first movie only last week so I had it in rather fresh memory, it was fun seeing the sequel pretty soon after.

Hmm. Summer is fast on its way here, even though it's raining at the moment... there are a few things stressing me out a bit, hope to get everything in order soon and before summer actually begins. I'm turning 19 in less than a month and sometimes I get a feeling that oh how easy it would be to still be a little kid hahaha. But then again every age has it's pros and cons... oh well.

Tablet's also been acting weirdly lately, I typed out a long rant here about it and then I tried again and it worked XD might resubmit the wall of text though if it ceases working again... no idea what's wrong and if it's my computer or the tablet itself that seems to have some beef with me. grrr

Hello hello! Got everything under control, school's now finally out for good (going to graduate this summer!) and yeppers, feeling a lot easier now.
I also finally got a job, which I'm reeeaally habbout about, too.

So I guess... I'm back XD even though it wasn't that long an absence but anyway..

Haha ...Continuing with the series of "can't believe it's already..."
yep, February! School's now unofficially over (still the finals and some things regarding them to go)... and lots and lots of snow here, I'd say too much actually and for a few weeks it was too cold for my liking but now it's getting a bit warmer. Though if all of the snow melts, it'll look ugly outside, all dull and grey. 8(

But not much has been going on... except that for some reason I've been to the cinema quite a few times during the last few months (or the reason usually being my friend =Berneri who has went there and I've gone with her XD), there have been some good movies going there, the last one being the Sherlock Holmes film >8DD I just wanted to say that I LOVED it! And the soundtrack is lovely, too. (Hans Zimmer, yay!)
Bwahha.
I also saw the much discussed Avatar a few weeks ago and I liked it a lot, too, but I think I liked the Sherlock Holmes even more. XD can't wait for a sequel, I suppose there's going to be one.

movies sure are good entertainment, should go to the cinema more often 8D hehee.

Hello hello, long time no see. Just wanted to get that previous journal away from my page.
Today (or yesterday haha, it's already.... well past midnight here) appears to be some Pirate day, and we actually didn't even know it, but it was a good coincidence then because we watched the Pirates of the Caribbean-trilogy today without knowing about such day XD
ohh but good movies they are.

but. I also wanted to apologize because I'm a bit left behind with my message centre and I know that there are many things I should reply to, but they've just piled up. Going to go through them, but somehow I've been a bit lazy with DA and with some other websites too, mainly been using my computer to draw and to listen to music. And I'm going to have the Spanish matriculation examination/finals soon. A bit nervous about that :-D

So, finally after the long wait my own computer with the programs I need is fixed and I am able to continue with the commissions! But once again, I am really sorry for this delay that kind of messed up some timetables as I first supposed to get the commissions ready during the summer vacation. Because when the school starts again, it's going to be my last year in school, meaning that there's a lot to do. But I'll do my best with the art that I owe to people! However, after this batch I think I'll have to take a long break from commissions/trades/etc., mostly because of the upcoming hustle later in the fall but also because of some personal ideas that need to be created someday, too. ...if you know what I mean, can't just put it into a shape lol.

But yeah. Much has happened while my computer was away, and while I could use the other computer to check certain things, it's still nice to have my own dear laptop back 8D ah.
And I also passed the driving test about a week ago! : D I've already been driving a good amount of kilometers to the nearby cities/towns, feels nice to be able to drive without the driving school-sign in the back of the car haha XD

Anyway, back in action : D the month sure went fast. Hope you are all well!

Just a quick update, I'm currently visiting my friend and writing this on another friend's computer (laptop!) : D
The thing is, my computer decided to break down again. It's the same problem as last time, something about the internal wireless driver system etc. aargh blah blah but anyway, I can't use the internet without some cable system (of which we have only one.. and two computers, the other one is also in the maintenance atm 8)))) awesome). So yesterday I took my computer to the maintenance, and they said the fixing can take up to one month. ... Last time it was maybe two weeks, don't know why it's that long this time but in a nutshell that means I can't use my computer for about a month. And neither can I draw. I can answer/read my messages and mail every once in a while when the other computer comes back though, but that won't be too often either.

So, for the people who I owe the commissions to, I really apologize for this delay. :/ when my computer comes back, I'll immediately start working on them again but at the moment I can just wait for it to come back from the maintenance.
And about the waiting list, it's not compulsory, so in case you don't feel like waiting for another month you can cancel it, it's completely fine. Of course you can also wait, just that if you don't want to wait that is XD I'm being clear again.

That's pretty much about it, let's just hope that they can fix it quicker than they promised. 8C

Ahh, summer has finally arrived. it's about 25 Celsius here (~77 F) and I just got back from the school (from a driving lesson that is, still weird to go there on the first free actual vacation day haha) and now I'm sitting on the balcony with my laptop that is maybe going to get too hot hmm ...
Anyway, pretty nice. *_* so warm and lovely and all ah. Though I think it would be even lovelier in the countryside but well, not complaining, this is just fine too.
And ha haa, next thursday is the big day then, I'm gonna turn 18! Oooo can't wait. Only a few days left~

Wohoo, the exam week is finally over for me, and the English matriculation examination or finals or whatever it should be called is also done. So no too heavy school-related stuff for a while o/ and soon it's going to be april, which is also nice. Getting closer to summer all the time ♥

Anyway, seems like it's almost a month since I last updated my journal, but I now have a wonderful reason to do it   so here's a little advertisement for you guys!

Some of you might have heard of ~Wolf-of-Samhain and his beautiful Wolf Fur Jewelry. He works as a volunteer for Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary where he performs various maintenance tasks and in addition to that also creates wolf fur jewelry from the fur that the wolves shed once a year. The fur is gathered from the wolves of Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary in New Mexico and Mission:Wolf in Colorado.
It's very wolf friendly and the wolves love to be plucked when their undercoat is blowing out.
His business is in fact called Healing Wolf Jewelry and it leans heavily on the metaphysics of gemstones to aide in that healing. The wolf teaches and the gems heal.
