You knew I would draw Okami! Haha! I sketched this a little time ago and in fact, I wasn't planning to color it until I changed my mind and wanted to give a try. This was actually very hard to draw, because of the fire and the fur of the rest of the body. But I think the fire looks like fire this time. : D I would actually make a tutorial of it, but I can't remember how I did it, it was an accident.. hah. I either wasn't sure about Amaterasu's eye color so I put blue. But here is Okami aka Amaterasu, jumping somewhere in the clouds. With a bit more realistic style. :} And here's the (weird looking) sketch, if interested: [link]
Now I gotta go to play the game. Wee!

If you know what that kanji means, take a cookie.
edit: I put a watermark on the picture, because I've found it from many places it shouldn't be :/ I might make a better one instead of the da watermark but this will do for a while.
..isn't Kanji a word for the Chinese characters or something?
Either way, I love this picture a lot! I love the way you draw heads, very nice. The clouds are absolutely stunning, and the fire surrounding the disc is gorgeous. Overall a fantastic picture, once again!
omg! she is gorgeous! you did ammy soo much justice with this pic more justice then Issun xD i love this her fur is really cool! good job here instant fav!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
