Got something done! A cheetah in the morning light. Not much to say about this. One day I just grabbed my sketchbook and started sketching a random feline. I thought it would be nice to color so I scanned it and colored it in Photoshop. For some reason I think it lacks something, but I don't get what it could be. Maybe it would be better looking without the grass, but then it would feel a bit empty. I might edit this later if I get some nice ideas. But by far it's finished.
Whatever, hope you like it. Photoshop 7.0 Time taken maybe 20 hours or so
edit: I editet the nose, hope it's more cheetah-like now
very pretty! actually I was thinking it might need more grass, like in the background so there isn't so much sky, but that's just my opinion. I love the detail in the fur though! very nice!

"How you doin' Racetrack?"
"Ya know that big break I told you about?"
"Yeah"
"Nobody told the horse." - Racetrack and Jack from "The Newsies"
The only thing I would suggest is maybe a tree (small, distance) or two, but damn this is gorgeous.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
This contest ends on Friday the 18th December 2009. If you want to enter, get your entries in quick! Here are all the entries so far. Also if you want to donate a prize, that would be fantastic too, just note me
