Just something I did out of boredom. I've been having a little 'artblock', meaning that I really want to draw but I don't know what to draw. Then yesterday I suddenly got this urge to draw a purebred dog. : D I've been drawing a lot of wolves and such, but not much purebred dogs. So I chose a rough collie, a blue merle one. I've always liked the breed and that kind of color is really cool looking imo 8D
not much to babble about, I wanted to make this look a bit like a pet portrait or something XD photoshop cs3 oh and btw, should I keep the borders or not? o_o because I don't know if they suit the picture, it looked empty without them but then again I don't know if they look good. Hmm edit: decided to darken the borders a bit  thanks for the opinions! Daily DeviationGiven 2008-11-07Blue Merle by =zowolf is truly beautiful.
