Anyway, after digital art I finally made one traditional piece too. Even though my scanner ate the colors and the BACKGROUND goddam *cries a river ;_;* I'm still pretty happy with it though it looks a bit like a dog. I've never drawn a serval before, and I thought I should give it a try.
Watercolors and color pens, about 4 hours. Enjoy. ^^
Wow, this is REALLY awesome.
If the scanner chewed this peice somewhat, I can't imagine what the real oner looked like! You are amazingly talented.
The fur is stunning, especially around the ears and the side's of the face... you've created the layered effect that's very common among smaller cats, while retaining the sleek smoothness!
The eye is beautiful too - You are great at creating awesome eyes that become the focal point of your works. They are so deep and realistic, and they look like they're staring right out of the screen into you.
Awesome work!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
